In this position, you will play a crucial role in preparing and presenting high-quality dishes that align with our hotel’s reputation for excellence. You will work closely with the culinary team to ensure that every dish meets our exacting standards, contributing to an unforgettable dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to the highest standards, following established recipes and presentation guidelines.

  • Oversee a designated station in the kitchen, ensuring that all food items are prepared in a timely manner and to the required specifications.

  • Maintain consistency in taste, appearance, and portion sizes for all dishes served.

  • Adhere to strict hygiene and sanitation standards, ensuring that the kitchen and your workstation are always clean and organized.

  • Assist with inventory checks, stock rotation, and the timely ordering of ingredients to maintain freshness and minimize waste.

  • Work closely with the Executive Chef, Sous Chef, and other kitchen staff to ensure seamless kitchen operations and contribute to menu development.

  • Assist in the final presentation of dishes, ensuring that each plate is visually appealing and meets the hotel’s standards of excellence.

  • Support junior kitchen staff by providing guidance and mentoring, helping to maintain a cohesive and skilled kitchen team.

  • Follow all safety and health regulations, including HACCP standards, to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a high-end or luxury hotel kitchen environment.

  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and the ability to execute recipes accurately and consistently.

  • A keen eye for detail in food preparation, presentation, and cleanliness.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional training is preferred.

  • A genuine passion for cooking and a commitment to delivering exceptional culinary experiences.

  • Understanding of food safety standards and regulations, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and sanitary kitchen environment.
