​Our client, a luxury hotel downtown Detroit, MI is seeking a talented and dedicated Servers to join the culinary team. If you have a passion for delivering outstanding customer service and thrive in a fast-paced, high-end environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

In this position, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our guests. You will provide professional and attentive service while anticipating the needs of our guests and ensuring that all details are executed flawlessly.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and decorations.

  •  Greet guests upon arrival, escort them to their tables, and assist with seating arrangements as needed.

  • Take orders and serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and efficient manner, following established service standards.

  • Anticipate and fulfill guest requests, making recommendations and providing information about menu items and special dietary requirements.

  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the event, promptly addressing any concerns or issues to ensure a positive experience.

  • Clear tables, reset dining areas, and assist with event cleanup and breakdown at the conclusion of each event.

  • Work collaboratively with other banquet staff, kitchen team members, and event planners to ensure seamless coordination and execution of events.

  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines, maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas, and adhere to company policies and procedures.

  • Provide exceptional customer service, demonstrating professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a server or in a similar role in the hospitality industry preferred.

  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and team members.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

  • TIPS or ServSafe certification a plus.
